Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Portland South/Lake Oswego

Heard it was newly renovated. Definitely has clean, new feel. Breakfast is good. Staff members are very friendly.

Clean rooms, nice staff, great free breakfast! Also the woman working breakfast are was so nice even came to our table and asked how everything was.

One of the best hotels we’ve stayed at - truly a great value for your money. Rooms were tastefully decorated and very clean. Front desk was also helpful and breakfast was very nice. We were especially touched by how above and beyond breakfast assistant, Heidi, went to ensure our stay was lovely. Will stay here again!

I've stayed at this hotel, probably 15 to 20 times over the last 10 years. It's really close to the freeway, but far enough from downtown that you don't get sketchy people around. The service here is absolutely great! Just like any Marriott. They are always super professional, always willing to help in any way I need. Breakfast is great, internet is fast, the rooms are clean and quiet. The beds are super comfortable and I always sleep so well here. You can't ask for anything more!

I had a major privacy issue at this hotel, but the management's response was outstanding. Due to a manual error by the night shift staff who checked me out at 2 AM without my request, housekeeping entered my room without knocking at 9:15 AM. The housekeeping manager, Daphanee, was incredibly rude and defensive when I confronted her about the intrusion. However, the morning front desk team and the Hotel Manager saved the experience. They were professional, empathetic, and took full responsibility for the staff's mistake. While the housekeeping department clearly needs better training, I am grateful for the Manager’s excellent leadership and sincere apology. Etc; no more hot tub next to the pool. We've stayed at the Lake Oswego location twice. They're close to OHSU. Very clean facility and professional service. Average rates and breakfast. The location made me feel safe and secure. We didn't use any of the other amenities, however, they also looked clean and in good condition. Will definitely stay here again...awesome experience. Thanks everyone.

Best hospitality at this hotel! Very friendly very helpful front desk staff! Also the breakfast attendants were extraordinary also very friendly especially an older woman that works there always saying good morning and making sure we have everything! Front desk was just the best! I travel a lot all around the world and all over the states! It’s a must stay hotel away from the city of Portland great location off the freeway close driving distance to the nature parks and the best waterfalls outside of Portland. My family and I def said it’s more then a 2 star hotel it’s def more a 3 star hotel!!

Excellent location nestled in trees just off of the freeway. A Beautiful bright open lobby flows into a painting of Mt Hood on the glass doors to the lovely breakfast room. The fitness room is super clean with all new equipment and has cold filtered water for bottle refills. There is a little indoor pool, and outside they have a few tables on a patio. The front desk agent was so nice and was able to accommodate my preferred room. The room was super clean and comfortable , I slept soo good!
